THIS PIECE HAS BEEN performed in two locations.

   The original, in Cebu City in 2005 and the second in Montreal a year later.

   The first was done outdoors, in the street. The second, indoors.

   One important element of the performance had to adjust to the indoors situation in Montreal that wouldn't have been necessary in Cebu City or in the Philippines.

   This situation is the fire and building hazards regulation that is followed strictly in Montreal or in Canada, while being a mere 'suggestion' as is the case with many Philippine laws and regulations.

   In the Cebu performance I lit small candles and left it for the elements to take care of. In Montreal, I had to blow out the candles.

   The Montreal performance was documented on video, while the former was captured only on still camera.

   This documentation makes use of both materials with still photographs inserted in the video plus some explanatory or contextual text which was not available to the audience of either performance.
