A STATIONARY BIKE is the visual focus of this piece.

   But, the content is the Millenium Development Goals printed on a strip of paper attached to the outer rim of the stationary bicycle's front wheel.

   This strip is passed around by the audience as it rolls out from the wheel allowing or forcing them to read the text written there.

   For participants of an event where the MDGs are accepted and promoted, if not actively then certainly as a matter of principle, the performance asks a simple question by and of the stationary bike; Are we there yet?

   For those who see the stationary most, there is a need for movement. For pressure. For organizing. For resistance, even.

   Those who see otherwise call for staying the course or speeding up more of the same.
